Came from an article on OLY accessory work. The link for broad jumps leads here. The article mentions using a band while doing broad jumps and I don’t understand how to do that. Do you wrap a band around your waist, anchor it to a post or wall and broad jump away from the anchor?
Yes! That will work! You can also use a partner if you have someone. They hold the band, you jump away as far as you can while the band provides resistance. Another way to do it is to wrap the band around a weight belt and put the weight belt on your waist. Then you don't run the risk of the band slipping down if you lose tension.

hey coach, why isn't working 3 min and resting 1 min training your vo2 max? Is there something special about 1-to-1 work / rest ratio that promotes vo2 max training? I'm thinking of tabata's 8 rounds of 20 on 10 off which I would think def. helps increase your vo2

This is freaking amazing. I’ve never had anyone break down like this. 2 years of CrossFit, and still trying to get the muscle up. Great coach, great energy, and superb information. This channel is a hidden gem, and be plugging it fsho.
What I like about you guys videos is that you always emphasise on making it your own movement opposed to telling "the right way" to do it. I guess its also been referred to as giving the skeleton for us to then make it out own movement. Thats not something I see very often - thumbs up ;)
